1.3-Growing Older

My beautiful Jamila is now a healthy and lovely little girl.  Our birthdays are in the same month, so we both aged around the same time.  I am now a senior citizen...NOOOOOO!!!!

But at least I still have my hair.  I refuse to walk with a cane; I don't need it and it doesn't accessorize well with my outfits.  Tyson keeps insisting that I get one.  I'm old, but not THAT old.  Jeesh!

Jamila is a great kid, but starting to worry me a little.  She keeps giggling and running around with "Rags", her "friend".  I never had an imaginary friend, so I can't understand what is really going on.  My friends tell me it's okay to have one, but I'm not so sure.
Jamila will be fine.  Right?  She is the lead ballet dancer at her dance school and has tons of friends.  I hope this imaginary friend business sort itself out quickly.

And why is Tyson bugging me about drinking too much?  I am now the Superintendent of the Truelong Community School and things have been hectic lately with funding.  Parents want to send their children to boarding school nowadays and that is not good for Truelong.  I don't drink a lot; a couple of glasses of wine a night helps me sleep.  Who is going to keep up the standards of this school when I'm not around anymore?  That keeps me up at night.  Riverview depends on me to educate their children.
