Today, I met my 1st townie, Roxie Lin. Roxie is a lyricist with an unusually husky voice. She even gave me a ticket to one of her shows. I hope she's good at what she does; I don't want things to be awkward.
Anyway, it was nice meeting someone new. She has kids, so I bet I will see her around at home and at my new job, Truelong Community School. She seems cool enough.
When I moved into my new place, I also received a free ticket to watch the Riverview Lobos play their 1st game of the new season. I'm from Texas, so football is my 2nd language. GO LOBOS!!!
Later that week, Roxie introduced me to a friend of her brother-in-law, Tyson Morris. Umph, I love me some chocolate.....slow down girl.....
Tyson asked me out on a date and of course, I said "Yes". We caught a movie and had dinner. After dinner, we watched the stars together. I think I'm in love....
